The Garrote Podcast is a show that seeks to tangibly empower individuals to combat pathological ideas by arming them with a curated set of terms and definitions that one can deploy in any communicative context.  

 

Although such a raison d’être appears deceptively simple prima facia, such circumspect parameters are actually a radical reduction in scope from what the original vision aspired to accomplish—the details of which already exist, to a large extent, in outline note form.  

 

However, after extensive deliberation, Chingachgook and Howard Roark—the creators of the podcast—ultimately decided that the best course of action to pursue—given the uncompromisingly deleterious conditions under which they currently produce this content—was to regard the original concept as a future project to undertake should the requisite resources, one day, ever become available, and, instead, openly and honestly acknowledge the constriction of their current circumstantial limitations.  

 

Under the trepidation of this epistemic uncertainty—plagued by the incertitude of how the free-market’s favor would regard the utility of such a conceptual tool kit—this repository of premium content humbly submits itself to the consideration of the individual consumer.
